BMT's navigation simulator sales have seen astonishing growth recently.
It is reported that BMT has recently signed multiple REMBRANDT navigation simulator key contracts with multiple cruise companies, including Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, and P&O Cruises Australia. These orders, based on office and ship licenses, will support over 39 cruise ships for BMT.
It is understood that the REMBRANDT navigation simulator is fully scalable - running in full mission mode - through configurable modes on desktop and laptop computers. The REMBRANDT navigation simulator is a DNV GL certified A, B, C, and S simulator, and has been adopted by a large number of well-known maritime stakeholders. The shipboard technical equipment simulator will support modern marine factory ship, with scalable bridge simulation and training applications, including training of the entire crew and ship to ship in shallow water and hydrodynamic water, and evaluation of complex ship handling in transportation. This innovative technology has recently been adopted by major legal maritime agencies around the world. These institutions include the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Ship Safety Office (OMS), the UK Marine Accident Investigation Service, the Australian Transport Safety Board, and the Dutch Safety Board.
